If you are staying at Canopy Vista, inquire about coming to see my 75 acre sheep/reforestation farm located about 40 minutes from Dominical... Please feel free to contact me if you are thinking of buying farm or rural land in this region===Kathleen

This property located just down the road from my reforestation, sheep and
timber 50-acre farm. A home built here would feel like your very
own castle in the sky.
The property also has a beautiful little pasture for livestock or a small reforestation project.
For example, below is a video of my sheep operation. Then take a look at the one below to see what sheperds do in their spare time.
Here are the advantages of this particular farm...
This is titled property in a very
desirable location in booming Southern Costa Rica
within a
short drive to the beach. Truly an "in the country" feeling, yet easily
accessible to both Dominical and San Isidro de General.
The
San Juan de Dios Valley is considered a jewell of rural land, located
just inland from the Las Lagunas luxury home estates and the Punta Mira
estates.
Connections to electricy and water are nearby. There is a running stream on the property. Public road frontage on 3 sides. There are at least 2 good building sites.
The
area is a mix of Gringo and Costa Rican neighbors who help one another
as needed. Down the road are Johnny and his family, who help take
care of John & Liann's river-front reforestation farm, Lucy &
Ruben who built their own 6,000 sf home themselves for around $50,000,
Virgilio and his family, who help care for my 50-acre reforestation and
sheep farm, and Gilber's family who have lived in the area for many
generations. (Gilbert is also interested in selling more of his "mother farm", about 68 acres--more info on that farm too if you are interested)
Now that the paved coastal road from Quepos to
Dominical is completed, people are starting to discover this unique area. Already, we are seeing a greater
demand for small farms, as more people seek a sustainable lifestyle.
This 25-acres is right down the road from my ocean-view reforestation and sheep project and adjacent to Gilbert's 3-waterfalls farm.
In
2005 I decided to plant about 3,000 baby hardwood trees and in 2008 we saw white-faced monkeys on the farm for the first time.. Please contact me,
if you wish to learn more
about growing trees or putting your own sheep on this piece of proerty.
